Online English Language Arts Teacher | Part-Time | Remote

Writing Symphony is seeking experienced educators to teach individual students and small groups online using our structured writing curriculum for grades 1–12.

Responsibilities
• Teach live virtual writing classes
• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment
• Provide feedback and track student progress
• Review weekly professional development emails for updates and training

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher, English or Education preferred
• At least 1 year of teaching experience
• Recent online teaching experience within the past 2 years
• U.S. teaching credentials required. TESOL is a bonus.
• Experience with virtual classroom platforms
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Experience supporting diverse learners, including ELL students
• Availability for 4–10 hours per week
• Must pass a background check

Schedule
Classes generally meet 3:00–8:00 PM Pacific Time Monday–Friday and 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Pacific Time Saturdays.

Compensation
$21/hour during a 16-week probationary period, increasing to $22/hour upon successful completion.
