Grammar Workshop

At its heart, Grammar Workshop is an essential editing program that allows the students to read and correct classic literature. The students find and fix mistakes in sentences from the story. These lessons reinforce much needed grammar and editing skills.

Grade Level 2 - 3

Part 1: The Dog and His Reflection

Part 2: Androcles the Lion

Grammar Workshop for 2nd and 3rd grade introduces students to Aesop's most beloved fables. This class is fast-paced and engaging. Students learn grammar concepts, writing skills, and editing skills in each lesson. This class will also provide optional writing practices for each lesson.

Grade Level 4 - 5

Part 1: Peter Rabbit

Part 2: The Elves and the Shoemaker

This Gramar Workshop for 4th and 5th grade introduces the student to classic folktales. This fast-paced, energetic class presents grammar concepts, writing skills, and editing skills in each lesson. Students then apply those skills through in-class and homework activities. Optional writing practices further reinforce the concepts learned in class.

Grade Level 6 - 8

Part 1: Icarus

Part 2: Icarus

Grammar Workshop for 6-8th grade introduces the student to ancient mythology. This swift and lively class presents more advanced grammar concepts, writing skills, and editing knowledge. Students then utilize the Writing Symphony methodology to apply their editing skills during in-class work and homework assignments. Further practice is available in optional writing practices.
