Writing Programs

A systematic methodology that

brings skills-based tools and the

rigor of daily practice into every

level of the program

Our programs combine engaging writing techniques and intensive academic instruction to help your child become a more proficient communicator. The Writing Symphony methodology helps students build confidence as they review writing fundamentals, including sentence structure, mechanics, editing/ proofing, vocabulary, and writing variations and style.

Classes are capped at six students in order for them to get the full impact of the “Think. Write. Speak. Repeat.” methodology, providing an engaging environment for a highly participatory classroom.

Our standard writing courses span 8 modules of 4 lessons each over the academic school year, with a review and Final Level Assessment given to all students who complete all eight modules of a level. Students meet with their Writing Symphony teacher once a week for an hour in a small virtual group setting. Students will learn to read, write, and speak in quality sentences and paragraphs, then transition smoothly into writing and telling narrative stories, 5-paragraph essays, literary analysis, and more as they prepare for more challenging high school and college essay writing.
