Lower Elementary
Grade Level 2 - 3
Unleash your student’s imagination and help them develop a passion for writing creatively. Students will analyze classic examples of stories written by well-known authors while learning the basic elements of characters, plot, and setting. Students will have examined a classic short story and integrate new characters, settings, and plot elements.
At the end of this Summer Camp, students will also bring their own characters to life, by developing an original plotline, and writing their own story. Students will have written an original creative story with their own characters, settings, and plot elements; these will be presented it to their peers and teacher. This class allows your student to grow as a writer and a communicator.

Grade Level 4 - 5

This class allows your student to grow as a writer and a communicator.

Grade Level 6 - 8
Unleash your student’s imagination and help them develop a passion for writing creatively. Students will analyze classic examples of stories written by well-known authors while learning the basic elements of characters, plot, and setting. Students will have examined a classic short story and integrate new characters, settings, and plot elements.
At the end of this Summer Camp, students will bring their own characters to life by developing an original and unique plotline. They will have an opportunity to develop their grammar skills by demonstrating a strong command of language and expression through word choice, figurative language, and style. Students will have written an original creative story with their own characters, settings, and plot elements; these will be presented it to their peers and teacher. This class allows your student to grow as a writer and a communicator.
